I’m so excited to share with you the launch of my new YouTube channel, where I explore the beauty of slow living, self-love, and self-care, all while wandering through the stunning countryside of rural Wales. In my first video, I take you along on a peaceful journey—walking through the hills, foraging fresh blackberries, and baking a cozy blackberry and apple pie from scratch.

In this fast-paced world, it can be easy to forget about the importance of slowing down and connecting with ourselves. For me, walking in nature is a form of self-care that allows me to reconnect with my thoughts, breathe deeply, and find moments of peace. There’s something about the quiet beauty of the Welsh countryside that calms the mind and nurtures the soul.
As I walk through the rolling hills and fields, I talk about self-love and why it’s so important to take time for ourselves—whether it’s through mindful walking, journaling, or simply enjoying a few quiet moments. These walks remind me to practice gratitude, to take life one step at a time, and to embrace the beauty around me.
**Foraging and Baking: The Joy of Slow Living**
After the walk, I transition into one of my favorite slow-living activities—foraging for wild blackberries. There’s something so satisfying about gathering fresh ingredients directly from nature. It’s a mindful process that connects me with the seasons and gives me a deep appreciation for the simple pleasures in life.
With my basket full of blackberries, I head home to bake a delicious blackberry and apple pie. The act of baking is another form of self-care for me—taking the time to prepare a wholesome treat from scratch, with no rush and no distractions. The smell of the pie filling the kitchen is pure comfort, and it’s a reminder of the joy that comes from nourishing both body and soul.

This concept of slow living is all about being present, savoring each moment, and letting go of the need to constantly rush through life. Whether I’m walking through nature or baking a pie, I find peace in taking things slowly and embracing the process.
